Geoffrey Dietrich is an attorney
and a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi
Freedom. He is an entrepreneur and has started a corporate services
company to support your business needs.
Geoff practices primarily in the areas of business and transactions,
including corporate compliance, entity formation, mergers and
acquisitions, and securities. He also practices in the areas of
estate planning, real estate and real property law, international
law.
In addition, Geoff is an Adjunct Faculty Member of the J. Reuben
Clark Law School where he serves as an Assistant Lecturer in the
Legal Interviewing and Counseling class taught by Professor Larry
Farmer.
Geoff graduated from the Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben
Clark College of Law where he served as Managing Editor on the
BYU Law Review and as Vice-President of the Real Estate Law Society.
He also completed a judicial internship with Presiding Justice
Boren of the California Court of Appeal. In 2000, Geoff received
his B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point
where he majored in Chinese and Arabic.
Before attending law school, Geoff was an Infantry
officer in the United States Army where he served as a Platoon
Leader, Executive Officer, Assistant Operations Officer, and
Senior Logistics Officer within a mechanized "Bradley Fighting
Vehicle" infantry battalion. During this time Geoff deployed
to Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2001-02
and to Iraq for combat operations in Operation Iraqi Freedom
during 2003-04.
Geoff has been awarded the Combat Infantryman's Badge for actions
in Iraq, is a three-time award recipient of the Army Commendation
Medal and earned the Army Parachutist Badge and the Air Assault
Badge.
